Fort Bend Shelter Pet Expo 2017                                          Adopt, Don’t Shop!

April 26th, 2017 Sugar Land, Texas – Fort Bend Pets Alive! is hosting the 3rd annual “Fort Bend Shelter Pet Expo” in Sugar Land Town Plaza on Saturday, May 6th from 11:00 am – 2:00pm.

Fort Bend Pets Alive! will be bringing homeless animals to the people! As part of a program to raise awareness of shelter adoption and the respect of all lives. FBPA! is hosting the Fort Bend Shelter Pet Expo 2017 in a venue that has great accessibility and visibility to help bring in prospective adopters. It will feature vaccinated, micro-chipped and altered animals from local animal shelters such as City of Missouri Animal Control and City of Rosenberg Animal Control.

We are honored to have Reliant Energy as our Pack Leader Sponsor this year. Natural Pawz, Richard Stegall with State Farm, Viteri’s Sweets and Best Burgers are only a few of our local businesses owned by animal lovers who joined the pack of sponsors this year.  We are also delighted to have participation from Dr. Kevin Pina DVM from the Lighthouse Veterinary Clinic, and the Fort Bend George Memorial Library from Richmond to join us to help spread the word of compassion and pet health.  Katy Community ‘Chip Clinic will be on site to offer low cost ($10) micro-chipping. (must show proof of rabies vaccination and 2 pets per household only) We will also have various gift baskets and gift cards to be raffled off. Local and state officials are invited to join us to celebrate second chance at life for our homeless pets. Come on out and make a difference to show our community.
