Katy ISD Police Department Teams Up With Katy Area Agencies for Disaster Preparation
Over a dozen local organizations participate every year.
What: A well-informed community is better able to prepare for any potential disaster affecting their area. This year’s 2017 Safety Festival will educate residents about the important roles within Katy area law enforcement, medical and emergency management agencies. Through high-energy activities participants will be able to see how these men and women work daily to protect our lives.
Some activities include law enforcement exhibits, emergency vehicle displays, live car fire and extraction presentations, firefighter combat challenges among other activities. Food, refreshments and live entertainment will also be part of the festivities.
