HistoryMaker Homes Announces Second Neighborhood

HistoryMaker Homes has started construction on its first model home in its second Houston community, the Lakes at Mason Park.

HistoryMaker Homes expects to open its second Houston-area model home next month in the Lakes at Mason Park.

A single-story, 1,797-square-feet Basswood design is expected to open this April at 22438 Guston Hall Lane and will serve as a temporary model home until a two-story Ironwood plan opens later this spring as the builder’s permanent community model home.

Pre-sales are slated to begin when the temporary model opens next month, with pricing targeted to be below $200,000. HistoryMaker is finalizing its plan list for the development.

“Zoned to the Katy Independent School District, the Lakes at Mason Park is perfect for young families who want to begin their children’s education in one of the Houston area’s top school districts,” said Kurt Watzek, Houston division president for HistoryMaker Homes. “We feel growing families will appreciate our vision of building homes with more living space and less wasted space at an exceptional value.”

The Lakes at Mason Park is located at just east of the Grand Parkway and north of Interstate 10, offering access to the Energy Corridor, Katy Mills Mall and the new Katy Medical Center. Residents enjoy community lakes, a neighborhood pool, recreation center and trails. HistoryMaker Homes has 115 homesites in the development.

One of the largest builders in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, HistoryMaker Homes made its Houston debut late last year in Wright’s Landing in Spring. The builder offers 17 home designs in Wright’s Landing, priced from the $220,000s and ranging from 1,800 to 4,000 square feet.

“One of the reasons our homes are priced so competitively is because we have established relationships with our vendors that extend decades,” Watzek said. “Our 68-year history allows us to offer homes with the open-concept living, granite countertops, ample storage and flex space buyers seek at very attractive prices.”

HistoryMaker launched in Dallas-Fort Worth in 1949, expanding over the decades and now building more than 800 homes across the region in 16 developments. Learn more about HistoryMaker Homes at www.historymaker.com.
