KATY, TX – A collection of classic cars from vintage roadsters of yesteryear to throw-back hot rods will be on display in a fun, family-friendly setting as Katy’s Cane Island presents the Get Away Car Show, sponsored by Sterling McCall Lexus and Rescue Realtor, on Saturday, April 8 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Dozens of mint-condition cars from sporty roadsters to grand touring types will be on display at the Cane Island Amenity Village, 2100 Cane Island Parkway, amidst an atmosphere of DJ music, face painters, food trucks and a special chalkboard car for the kids.
Classic cars also will be parked in front of Cane Island’s 14 luxury model homes, the perfect way to check out the finest machines on wheels while touring the homes of your dreams.
Plus, the public can cast its votes for Best in Show, Most Unique and Best Vintage cars.
No Label Brewery also will host a cozy Beer Garden in the Cane Island Amenity Village, a resort-style, tree-lined setting where car enthusiasts can chat, share photos of other classic cars or simply unwind.
The Get Away Car Show at Cane Island is free and open to the public.
