On March 6, 2017, The Katy Area Retired Teachers (KARE) went on their annual field trip to the Taste of Texas Restaurant. Attached are several pictures for you from our field trip.
Taste of Texas Restaurant owner, Nina Hendee hosted a luncheon for the Katy Area Retired Educators (KARE). The Taste of Texas opened in 1977 and has become a Houston landmark steakhouse. Hendee is an expert historian and has an amazing passion for Texas history. Her passion for history was ignited by her 4th grade teacher.
