Salata, Super Yummy and Bambu Lease a Combined 7,150 Square Feet in Houston’s Premier Shopping, Dining and Entertainment Development
Thor Equities, a global leader in urban real estate development, leasing and management, has leased a total of 7,150 square feet at The Shoppes at Cinco Ranch in Houston to three new retail tenants, company executives announced.
Salad bar restaurant Salata signed a long-term lease for 3,000 square feet of retail space. Super Yummy Mongolian Stir-Fry and Sushi has leased 2,610 square feet. And Bambu, which serves Vietnamese inspired chè, coffee, tea and fresh fruit smoothies, signed a long-term lease for 1,540 square feet at The Shoppes at Cinco Ranch.
“With the signing of these three popular food franchises, we are pleased to continue our successful lease-up of The Shoppes at Cinco Ranch,” said Melissa Gliatta, COO of Thor Equities.
Lowe’s opened its new 100,000-square-foot home improvement store at The Shoppes at Cinco Ranch in January, joining other new tenants Iron Tribe Fitness, Great Clips, Nails of America and Big Frog. Thor Equities is continuing to develop additional retail and restaurant spaces throughout the remainder of the 35-acre property, which also includes a Walgreens pharmacy.
Located in Katy, Texas within the Houston metropolitan area, The Shoppes at Cinco Ranch is easily accessible via the Westpark Tollway and bisected by Spring Green Boulevard, with ample parking and footpaths throughout the property. Area amenities include several golf courses, more than 100 neighborhood parks, a beach club, waterpark, and over 100 miles of hiking and biking trails.
Thor Equities is also developing new luxury mixed-use development Kirby Collection in Houston. Located in the Upper Kirby District near the iconic River Oaks neighborhood, the 1 million-square-foot luxury project features a 25-story residential tower with 199 apartments; a 13-story, 186,000-square-foot Class A office building; and two levels of prime retail space totaling 65,000 square feet.
