Library Presents Tips On Severe-Weather Preparedness

Spring weather in Texas can often be unpredictable and hurricane season starts in June – are you prepared if disaster strikes? Get helpful information and tips at Fort Bend County Libraries’ Cinco Ranch Branch Library on Thursday, March 23, beginning at 7:00 p.m., in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.

Douglas Barnes, Senior Planning Coordinator with the Fort Bend County Office of Emergency Management, will present the program “Preparing for Severe Weather.” Learn how to prepare your home and family for a hurricane or other severe weather event. Get tips that will help you minimize damage to your home and property, and that will maximize the personal safety of your family during and after a storm.
