Cinco Ranch Branch Library Hosts Small-Business-Owner Workshop On Hiring And Training Employees

            Fort Bend County Libraries’ Cinco Ranch Branch Library will present a special program, “From Employee to Business Owner,” on Saturday, March 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.

SCORE mentor Kali Cole will talk about what a new business owner should know when hiring and training employees. Get tips on best practices for hiring and learn how to train and empower staff to become a successful customer-oriented team. New entrepreneurs will learn how to rapidly transition from the employee mindset to that of small-business owner.

Cole is a Sales and Recruiting Strategist and owner of Sales Fix LLC. She is a graduate of the University of Houston with a degree in psychology.

This program is presented in partnership with SCORE, the non-profit mentoring arm of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Those attending this program will learn about resources that are available through SCORE and how to draw on the experience of other SCORE members.
