Arc Prepares for Disability-Friendly Santa Breakfast

arcThe Arc of Katy, a local non-profit offering programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is sharing the Christmas spirit by hosting its Jingle Bell Jam featuring a disability-friendly Mr. & Mrs. Santa Breakfast. The Jingle Bell Jam will be on Saturday, December 10 and will welcome all ages and disabilities to the event to be held on the campus of Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 1353 South Mason Road from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Cost of the event is $5 per person and each special needs guest is required to have a parent/guardian attend.
Chick-fil-A Mason Road, an event sponsor, will provide breakfast items and staff will interact with attendees by offering a craft station working on a Christmas favor including its signature mini stuffed cow. Also attending will be the Kid mascot cow dressed in his Elf finery. Chick’n minis for the breakfast are being donated to accompany Muchkin donut holes, fruit cup and a juice box. Coffee and water will also be available. Guests requiring a special diet are requested to bring their own.
Mr. & Mrs Santa will be on hand to visit with everyone and families can take their own photos. Favors will be provided all attendees. Space is limited and reservations are required. Visit www.thearcofkaty.org to make reservations.
