McDonald’s local owners donate food to community centers for disaster affected citizens

Owners in the disaster stricken areas have been donating breakfast, lunch and dinner to nearby community centers that are sheltering those affected by the flooding. The centers in particular include M.O. Campbell Center in Aldine and Cypress Creek Community Center and I continue to get updates from other owners who are helping out. Local owner Howard Kelly and his crew cooked breakfast for everyone at the M.O. Campbell Center using their commercial kitchen onsite and prepared what is equivalent to a McD’s ‘Big Breakfast’ to serve buffet style (eggs, biscuits, McGriddles, bacon and sausage). Owner Kyle Scholz has also invited all EMS, firefighters and police officers in the area to come by his restaurants for complimentary meals.
