Community Celebrates Top Teacher

A congratulatory party was hosted recently by Bill and Peggy Bain for Top Teacher of the Year, Suzette Steward Coates. Shown in the picture with Suzette and her husband, Colin, are her parents Barbara and Collins Steward along with some of the 215 guests who enjoyed an afternoon of skiing, swimming, fishing and barbeque.
Coates is a Special Ed teacher at Cinco Ranch Junior High. This award was presented to her on the LIVE with Kelly and Michael Show on ABC television.
In addition to being named Top Teacher of the Year, Coates also received a trip to Tahiti, a new car and $25,000 for her school.
